Progress on Many Fronts

We got the keys to our new house on Friday, and spent most of the weekend working on it.  My ambitions shrink as I internalize the kind of workload that’s ahead of us; I’d planned to paint the whole house before moving in, but now I’m aiming for a somewhat more modest ‘get two rooms painted’ target.

On the plus side, the color I picked for the library (formerly a dining room, but really, who uses dining rooms?) is perfect.  It’s called ‘Mocha Accent’; you can see it at the Behr website.

Once again, IKEA supplies the furniture; we’re forking over the big bucks to actually get the nice IKEA furniture, instead of the crappy and cheap stuff.

PAX approaches; apparently I’m working the booth again, but I still don’t know when or where.  I’ve managed to somehow delegate all my stressful tasks away, so during the pre-PAX crunch I’m doing… nothing.  Working on minor stuff, planning future schedules.

Somehow in the endless driving to and from the new house, I also managed to reach 30th level in WoW.  This is somewhat of a milestone for me, as I usually get bored and quit at 25th, only to be lured back in by their bright, shiny, candy-like colors.

That’s all.  Consider it the update you didn’t need.
